Taste of the Beaches

Ready to eat your way along the beaches? Taste of the Beaches returns October 3–11, with participating restaurants serving up featured dishes for just $10 per Taste. It’s a fun way to sample something new, discover local restaurants and support beach businesses. The nine-day culinary tour kicks off with a Kickoff Event this Friday, October 2nd, 6–9pm at Horan Park in St. Pete Beach, featuring live music by Big Brother. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

PIERTOBERFEST

Raise your best stein at the 4th Annual Piertoberfest on Saturday, October 3, from noon–10pm at Family Park on the St. Pete Pier. This free waterfront Oktoberfest celebration features live music by The Apple Strudel Oktoberfest Band, authentic German food and beer, traditional dancers, a live DJ, stein-hoisting competitions and plenty of Bavarian games. Gather your friends and make a day of it at the St. Pete Pier!

Corey Craft Festival

Make your way to St. Pete Beach this weekend for the 32nd annual Corey Avenue Art & Craft Festival on Saturday & Sunday, October 3–4, 10am–5pm. Corey Avenue transforms into a pedestrian-friendly outdoor gallery filled with fine art, jewelry, pottery, photography, clothing & other handcrafted treasures from artists across the country. Admission is free. Sunday also brings a Green Market with plants, soaps, spices & specialty foods.

German—American Oktoberfest

Bring friends to celebrate Oktoberfest at the Tampa Bay German American Society this Friday & Saturday, October 2–3. The festivities include live music, German food, dancing, stein-holding contests, a Kinder Corner and more, with the Gulf Coast Enzianer Schuhplattler Verein adding traditional German dancing to the celebration. Doors open at 5pm Friday and noon Saturday, with festivities running until 10pm both days. $12/adult.

Fall Y’all Festival

Get into the fall spirit at Fall Y’all on Saturday, October 3, at Coachman Park in downtown Clearwater. This free family-friendly event features food trucks serving fall treats, local vendors, a Kids Zone, contests and more. Little ones can also join the Lil Miss & Sir Pumpkin Contest for some extra seasonal fun.
