On March 21, 2020, more than 220 guests were to attended The Treasure Islettes, the women’s club of Treasure Island, annual fundraising effort – the fashion show at the Club at Treasure Island, however the event was cancelled because of the COVID-19.
The Islettes, President Ms. Carol Lee is pleased to announce that we have donated $2,220.00 to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic to ensure that they have enough bulk food for the needy during this crisis – the money was raised through the generous donation from local fashion ticket holders who did not request a refund and from amazing contributions made by local and private businesses.
The Treasure Islettes meet on the fourth Monday of each month from September to May at the Treasure Island Community Center. The Islettes welcome all women who have an interest in volunteerism and for more information contact The Treasure Islettes by email at caalee@verizon.net
The Islettes host Thursday night Bingos (temporarily cancelled) at 6:45 pm & 7:45 pm at the Treasure Island Community Center Park/Gulf Boulevard at 106th Avenue (behind Walgreens). Great snack bar, free coffee and cash prizes. Contact: Linda Hepp 727-270-3178.
