Tampa Bay Watch is seeking volunteers ages 16 and over for our new Discovery Center located on the new St. Pete Pier opening later this year. Docents/volunteers are needed to give facility tours, answer questions, and monitor the exhibits and touch tanks. Familiarity with coastal ecosystems is helpful, but not required. A passion for the environment is highly desired. For more information contact Heidi Blair, Discovery Center Operations Manager, at hblair@tampabaywatch.org

Tampa Bay Watch is a proud partner of Target Circle! Tampa Bay Watch is honored and excited to announce that we have been chosen to participate in a special charitable giving campaign, sponsored and funded by Target. And you have the chance to help direct a portion of Target’s donation to us! Now through June 30, vote for Tampa Bay Watch through the Target Circle program to help determine how Target’s donation will be divvied up. Click here to find out more about Target Circle.

Estuary EDventures is excited to offer Tampa Bay Watch’s Ocean Expedition Camp for teens, ages 13-15, July 6th-10th! The summer camp program is a fun-filled, hands-on, learning adventure focused on marine ecology. Campers will participate in boating trips, snorkeling and kayaking excursions, and species collection – offering a complex look at the Tampa Bay Estuary. Ocean Expedition Camp provides the opportunity for students to practice field methods, contribute to citizen science, and hear from local scientists about their valuable work. Click here to visit their site to learn more about Tampa Bay Watch summer camp programs and to register!
