#1 Celebrate the 4th of July in Gulfport
Celebrate Independence Day all day long in Gulfport, from a morning kickoff to nighttime fireworks. The festivities begin at 9am with the opening of the “Spirit of ’76” Time Capsule at City Hall, followed by a Family Fun Day at Tomlinson Park (10am–2pm) featuring vendors, games, and kids activities. The community parade steps off at 11am from Tomlinson Park, bringing a hometown feel to the holiday, before the celebration wraps up with a waterfront fireworks display at 9pm from Williams Pier. #2 Red, White & Views
St. Pete goes big for the 4th with a full weekend of waterfront festivities at the Pier. Start the day with the St. Pete Pier Run, a scenic, family-friendly 4-mile run/walk along the downtown waterfront. Then head to Spa Beach Park for the Red, White & Views Festival, featuring live music, food trucks, vendors, and beachside activities. Fireworks light up the bay Friday night around 9pm (early as 8:30pm or as late as 10pm), with prime viewing from the Pier, Vinoy Park, and Bayshore Drive. The big celebration continues Sunday with water shows, DJs, and more along the waterfront.

#3 Red, White & BBQ on SPB
Celebrate the Fourth of July the St. Pete Beach way with a fun-filled evening at Horan Park on Saturday, July 4 from 5–9pm. Expect a little bit of everything—BBQ competition, inflatable obstacle course, games, crafts, a dunk tank, and plenty of treats—plus a special military tribute and flyover from 5:30–6pm. It’s an easy, family-friendly way to spend the holiday right on the waterfront. The night wraps up with a fireworks show over the beach at 9pm, so bring your chairs, your crew, and your red, white, and blue spirit.

#4 Red, White & Blue on the Bay
Celebrate the 4th waterfront-style in Madeira Beach with this laid-back evening on Boca Ciega Bay. Red, White & Blue on the Bay brings together live music, local vendors, and plenty of food and drinks for a festive night by the water. Enjoy a performance by Homegrown – The Zac Brown Band Experience before the evening wraps with a fireworks show over the bay. Free and family-friendly—bring your chairs and settle in for a classic Florida Fourth.

#5 Treasure Island Fireworks
Keep it easy & classic with a beachfront fireworks show in Treasure Island, lighting up the sky at 9pm. The display launches near Gulf Front Park at 10400 Gulf Blvd, making it easy to spread out on the sand and take in the view. Bring a beach chair or towel, arrive early for parking, & enjoy a laid-back night by the Gulf with one of the area’s most scenic fireworks displays.
