This weekend, the 20th annual Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding returns to the streets of St. Pete with waterfront action from March 7-10. The season-opening race showcases St. Pete during this annual motorsports tradition, offering a festival atmosphere with its downtown location. The temporary circuit is a 1.8-mile, 14-turn configuration using the streets circling Pioneer Park, the Duke Energy Center for the Arts, The Dali Museum and extending onto the runway at Albert Whitted Airport, and borders the Tampa Bay waterfront and picturesque St. Petersburg Harbor and Marina.


Gulp Coast Relaunch for Tampa Bay Beer Week 2024

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater today announced a refreshed Gulp Coast Passport program in celebration of 2024 Tampa Bay Beer Week (March 2-10, 2024)! Re-launching today, the mobile passport helps guide visitors and residents in their journey to soak up the sun and the suds at 40 local Pinellas County breweries. The Gulp Coast Passport provides Gulp Coasters great deals and discounts at participating breweries across Pinellas County by checking in with their mobile device. St. Pete Beach Youth Builds Community Toy Box for Local Beach

A local youth leader recently completed a thoughtful and beneficial community service project in conjunction with her Girl Scouts membership. Isabella G from Troop 60912 (Hoxie Group), GSWCF (Girl Scouts of West Central Florida) created and installed a toy box she built herself for use at Pass-A-Grille beach. Isabella is 14 years old and has been in the Girl Scouts since she was five. This particular project is part of earning her Silver Award which focuses on a sustainable idea to help the community.
