Gulfport Cleanup at Trolley Market Square

Three hundred thirty pounds of trash were collected during the Keep Pinellas Beautiful/City of Gulfport/City of St. Petersburg Community Cleanup at Trolley Market Square hosted by the Fusion 49th District on March 2. Thank you to all supporters and residents who came together to build a cleaner, more vibrant environment for everyone.

In Plein Sight Returns to Gulfport this March

The Gulfport Merchants Chamber is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Fifth Annual 2024 Gulfport Plein-Air Event: “In Plein Sight.” Running from March 27th to April 3rd, artists aged 18 and older are invited to participate in this unique plein-air painting event. Participants will have the opportunity to create captivating artworks inspired by the beauty and charm of Gulfport, capturing its essence on canvas. Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day at Swigwam on Corey!

The Swigwam Beach Bar will once again celebrate their anniversary with Chill, Twisted Tiki and Grapes Wine Bar,  while everyone celebrates St.Patrick’s Day on Corey Ave on March 16 this year (so as to not interfere with the Corey Sunday Market.) The 300 block will close from Blind Pass to the funeral home driveway from 8am till midnight with a street party from 10am-11pm. Enjoy 3 bands (Sandy Bottom Boys, Beach Ratz and Full Throttle) & a DJ between sets.

  • Partnering with Forward Pinellas, FDOT, and the City’s consultants, the City of St. Pete Beach is currently analyzing existing conditions on Gulf Boulevard through the Gulf Boulevard Safety Study. The study will provide the City with a detailed report to help determine where it can make safety-related changes that will have the greatest impact.   The community meeting for this project is scheduled for March 21, 2024, from 5:30-7:00pm at City Hall.   • A local youth leader recently completed a thoughtful and beneficial community service project in conjunction with her Girl Scouts membership.
