• Partnering with Forward Pinellas, FDOT, and the City’s consultants, the City of St. Pete Beach is currently analyzing existing conditions on Gulf Boulevard through the Gulf Boulevard Safety Study. The study will provide the City with a detailed report to help determine where it can make safety-related changes that will have the greatest impact.   The community meeting for this project is scheduled for March 21, 2024, from 5:30-7:00pm at City Hall. • Indian Shores Town Hall parking lot will be reserved for election staff/voters only on Tue, March 19th. Parking will reopen after 7 p.m. to the public. Sign up for emails from the Town of Indian Shores at https://www.myindianshores.com/list.aspx.
• Join the City of Gulfport at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom on Monday, March 25th 6-8pm for a public meeting on the future of the Gulfport Municipal Marina. The City of Gulfport Municipal Marina with Stantec Consulting will hold a public meeting to gather/establish a community consensus for the development of a concept plan for improvements to the City’s Municipal Marina. • The City of Madeira Beach Founder’s Day is just around the corner on May 4th. Join the City of Madeira Beach for what Madeira does best, a Captain’s Party! • A local youth leader recently completed a thoughtful and beneficial community service project in conjunction with her Girl Scouts membership. Isabella G from Troop 60912 (Hoxie Group), GSWCF (Girl Scouts of West Central Florida) created and installed a toy box she built herself for use at Pass-A-Grille beach. • The City of St. Pete Beach is hosting their annual spring event on Saturday, March 30th 10am-12pm. The event will include their annual Underwater Egg Hunt ($5/child), LIVE APPEARANCE BY THE EASTER BUNNY, Free Seeds, Free Trees, Touch-a-Trucks and a Bounce House. Please note: this year for the underwater egg hunt; there will NOT be pre-registration.
