St. Pete-Clearwater is preparing to show off its creative culture this November as local artists and art organizations display their talents on their largest platform yet during the premiere Art Everywhere celebration.
Newly launched, to help guide visitors through more than 50 art experiences, the Art Everywhere mobile passport is now available for visitors to download and start making plans to chart their own artistic discoveries around the destination.
During the month of November and through the first week of December, creative minds will blanket St. Pete-Clearwater with a variety of dynamic cultural offerings, such as music festivals, art shows, hands-on public art projects, film and theater premieres, literary events, and dance showcases at area beaches, parks, museums and galleries, theaters, local attractions, and more. Art Everywhere is a partnership amongst Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, Creative Pinellas, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance and Clearwater Arts Alliance.
“The Art Everywhere mobile passport will create an opportunity for visitors to chart their own journey through our world-class museums, interactive cultural experiences, and amazing local creators,” said Visit St. Pete-Clearwater Chief Marketing Officer Steve Grimes. “St. Pete-Clearwater is brimming with artistic talent and home to more art per square mile than you could possibly believe. Visitors can start planning how they want to explore the artistic side of our BEACH. CULTURE. during this special celebration.”
Art Everywhere will begin with “Museum Week,” running Nov. 1-8. The Dali Museum, Florida Holocaust Museum, James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art, Museum of Fine Arts of St. Petersburg, and the newly relocated Penny Lane Beatles Museum will kick off Art Everywhere showcasing the best of St. Pete’s cultural institutions with performances, exhibitions, and special programs.
