Get ready to swim, bike, and run! The City of Seminole Recreation Department is excited to host the “Tri-If-You-Dare Youth Triathlon” on Sunday, June 28, 2026, beginning at 7:00 AM at the Seminole Recreation Center, 9100 113th Street N in Seminole, FL.
This exciting youth event is designed to introduce young athletes to the world of multisport racing in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. Participants will race to the finish as they complete a combination of running, biking, and swimming challenges tailored to their age group.
This reverse triathlon is open to children ages 5 to 12, with race distances as follows:
- Ages 5–6: Run 0.25 miles, Bike 1 mile, Swim 25 yards
- Ages 7–8: Run 0.50 miles, Bike 1.5 miles, Swim 100 yards
- Ages 9–10: Run 0.75 miles, Bike 2 miles, Swim 100 yards
- Ages 11–12: Run 1 mile, Bike 3 miles, Swim 150 yards
Participants must wear comfortable clothes to be active in. They must also bring their own bike, helmet, swimsuit and towel.
Registration is $60 per participant through May 31 and $75 beginning June 1 until the event reaches capacity. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
