TradeWinds Island Resorts will host the second St. Pete Beach BikeFest – a five-day (November 14-18, 2018) celebration full of motorcycles, live music and sunshine, presented by Bert’s Barracuda and Bert’s Black Widow Harley Davidson®. As home base for the event, TradeWinds will provide a unique beachfront backdrop for a wide variety of events and activities including live music, Builders Row Indoor Expo, Vendors Row, Roadkill Scavenger Bike Rides, Baddest Bagger Competition and Bike Show, massive motorcycle auction, a nightly beach bar crawl and more.
The air-conditioned Builders Row Indoor Expo will serve as a central gathering place for bikers and will showcase bikes from some of the industry’s top custom-builders. Vendors Row will showcase the latest in biker gear, clothing and accessories.
This year there will be live music on three alternating stages Thur.-Sat. all day until 10 p.m. The free nightly concerts on the beach include Sister Hazel (Thur.), country sensation Travis Tritt (Fri.) and Southern rock giants 38 Special (Sat.). Also performing throughout the weekend will be Puddle of Mudd, Saving Abel, Tobacco Rd Band and many other regional favorites.
Expanded weekend activities include a salute to the military on Saturday evening followed by a spectacular beach fireworks display. The fun continues on Sunday with “Diary of an Ozzman,” an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band, and the exciting giveaway of the 2018 HD street glide raffle bike.
The TradeWinds is offering special three- and four-night packages for two with rates as low as $627 per package and including various VIP extras such as beach concert tickets nightly, “Road Kill Scavenger Ride” entries, beach bar crawl entries and souvenir cups complete with drink discounts. Those staying on a four-night package get a bonus fifth night free. New this year is a three-night “Suite Life” package that includes accommodations in a premium two-bedroom suite, as well as four admissions to all items listed in the above packages. VIP motorcycle parking is also included.
The event is open to the public. Beach concerts and Builders Row Showcase are complimentary to the public. The public can also take part in additional activities for a nominal fee. A daily parking fee of $10 for motorcycles will be charged to non-resort packaged guests. Please note vehicle parking is not available – motorcycle parking only.
A portion of proceeds from the event will go to Athletes for Hearts, an organization that provides financial assistance to families with children in need of medical treatment specific to a heart condition and to fund advancements in medical technology for the treatment of heart disease, with a special emphasis on heart conditions affecting children.
