New Year’s Eve Revelers looking for places to go for New Year’s Eve need to look no further than TradeWinds’ “Toast by the Coast” New Year’s Eve Event which takes place from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the TradeWinds Island Grand Ballroom. Partiers 21 and over are invited to don their best duds for an evening of festivities, food, and fun. This year’s live entertainment, the band Motel Funk and Friends, will keep everyone on the dance floor until the wee hours. Guests can strike a pose in the photo booth, will enjoy an open bar and will receive a glass of bubbly and noisemakers for the champagne toast at midnight. An extensive gourmet hors d’oeuvres buffet is the centerpiece of this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration, including chef-carved beef steamship round with roasted garlic au jus, pear and blue cheese in phyllo, maytag stuffed mini beef wellington, Tandoori chicken sate and a pasta station featuring cavatappi in a sweet basil pomodoro sauce and cheese tortellini in saffron cream with goat cheese. A dessert and coffee display of chocolate fondue with fruit skewers and a Viennese pastry table will give the buffet a sweet ending.
