Althea was born and raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica. When she moved to New York she developed dry skin issues that steadily got worse no matter what she tried. Althea began researching nut butters and was introduced to shea. “I am still amazed about the many benefits of this little nut.” The formula for her own body butter is mostly shea butter with various butters and oils. Althea moved to Florida in 2016, continued working on her product and gave it to friends, family and co-workers and received rave reviews! When the pandemic struck in early 2020 she got to work on perfecting her line with the focus on using natural high quality ingredients that are affordable to all. Sales were strictly word of mouth until she joined the Corey Ave. Market in 2021.
