MarineMax Sponsors “Fishing Funds the Cure” Tampa Bay Tournament

The “Fishing Funds the Cure” Tampa Bay Tournament is a signature event for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF). This year, the Tampa Bay Tournament will be held at the amazing Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach with boats launching from MarineMax St Petersburg off Gulfport Boulevard.

The Fishing Funds the Cure Tampa Bay Tournament, is an extraordinary event that benefits kids battling cancer. The event will kick off on Friday night, October 16, with a tropical gala dinner reception, open bar, and live and silent auctions. Saturday, October 17, is the beginning of the two-day inshore fishing tournament with professionally guided boats and includes breakfast and lunch. Awards will be presented on Sunday afternoon during a ceremony at the Tradewinds Resort. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided on Sunday as well. 
 
Registration to fish the Tampa Bay tournament costs $2,500, for a team of three anglers, a professional guide, food for both days, and an invitation to the tropical gala on Friday night. Various sponsorship opportunities are still available, ranging from $100 to $30,000.
