Madeira Beach Public Facilities to Reopen Monday

Madeira Beach City Hall and other municipal buildings will reopen to the
public at 8 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2020. All city facilities were closed to the public in March in order protect the public and city staff from Covid-19 (Coronavirus). City Manager Bob Daniels also initiated a screening protocol for all staff entering a city building that includes taking their temperature and asking if they shown any symptoms of Coronavirus.

Those protocols will remain in place for staff, and as of Monday, all citizens who enter City Hall and other municipal buildings. “The health and safety of citizens and staff remains the top priority and that’s why we will continue to be vigilant in monitoring people,” said Daniels. “I lobbied the county to consider opening the beaches as soon as possible because we are a beach community and without it everything stops.”
