St. Pete Beach. In Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Beaches in the U.S., Clearwater Beach ranks No. 2 nationally. On Tripadvisor’s separate 2026 Best Florida Beaches page, it stands at No. 1 in Florida. The Travelers’ Choice “Best of the Best” distinction is reserved for places that earn an exceptionally high volume of standout reviews over 12 months, with fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor listings reaching that level.
Meanwhile, in the latest USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice ranking cited by Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, Clearwater Beach is No. 2 in Florida and St. Pete Beach is No. 7. On the global stage, Travel + Leisure places Clearwater Beach at No. 3 on its list of the 15 Best White-sand Beaches Around the World.
