Downtown Gulfport will host its 3rd Annual Gulfport Florida Pride event on June 3, from 10 AM – 8 PM to benefit the award-winning LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Public Library.

The LGBTQ Resource Center is committed to promoting awareness of the diversity of experiences, contributions and needs of people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and/or queer.
The past year has been marked by significant setbacks in LGBTQ+ rights and equality, including new laws that target the rights of transgender individuals, so this year’s Gulfport Florida Pride is especially important.
“Pride Festivals provide a much-needed sense of community, visibility, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ individuals and their allies, especially during times of crisis and adversity,” says Gulfport Vice Mayor Paul Ray, one of the event partners.
Gulfport Pride activities will include the Gulfport Gecko Amalgamated Marching Band, the ArtOut Exhibit and vendors showcasing art, pride gear, services and resources that serve the community. Additional activities and fundraisers sponsored by Gulfport’s all-inclusive local businesses include live music, fun-raisers, a local business décor contest and more.
Two stages will feature live entertainment all day: The North Stage will feature Solar Flair (10-11am), Laura Shepherd (11:30am-12:30pm), Mitch Rolling (1-2:30pm), No Label Drag Kings (3:30-4:30pm) and the final act will be announced shortly. On the South Stage you’ll find Greg Woodruff (10:30am-12:30pm), Janessa Brooks + Anna Fillaxus (1-2pm), Rum Syndicate (2:20-4:30pm). No Label Drag Kings (5-6pm) and the finale is a Dance Party with DJ Jayson (6-8pm). The entertainment lineup is subject to change.
