EyeWatchYourHouse.com was formed so you can actually not worry about your home while you’re away! The company founder, Leslie Hughes, has been a permanent Pinellas County resident since 1999. She and her husband have owned, operated, and managed two mom-and-pop motels in Treasure Island and St. Pete Beach, and they’ve owned and managed rental properties since the early 1980s. They’ve experienced the anxiety that comes with being a property owner, and not knowing what you’ll find after a storm has passed through our area.
Many of us have devices in our homes that allow us to adjust temperature, monitor inside and outside areas with cameras, and even control our garage doors. Such devices cannot see ceiling leaks, detect supply line leaks, drive your car, remove leaves from your pool, check the bilge pump on your boat, water your plants, or retrieve mail or packages.
Furthermore, electronic devices only work if there is electricity or internet. Nothing replaces the peace of mind knowing that a reliable person is physically checking on your house, and can notify vendors in a timely manner if a problem is detected.
