CTK welcomes the New Year and looks forward to helping our local families in need. We had a busy year providing Clothes To Go Bags to school-aged children, in need, in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. Our success means that our inventory is low and we need clothing and shoes. How can you help? Are your children’s, grandchildren’s clothes and shoes taking over your closets? We can help. Please donate any gently used clothing, shoes and jackets to Clothes To Kids. It’s cold outside and we can use them. We especially need elementary, middle and high school children’s pants, shorts, shirts, jackets and shoes in all sizes to help clothe the children in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties PK4-12th grade.
Children who receive a Clothes To Go bag from Clothes To Kids, are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch or who are in crisis. What do they receive? Each Clothes To Go bag includes 5 pairs of new underwear, 5 pairs of new socks, 5 tops, 4 bottoms, 1 dress (optional) and a pair of shoes, totally free! Donations: As our mission continues, our need for monetary and clothing donations has not stopped. Please go through your closets and donate any gently used school clothing and shoes for children PreK 4 to 12th grade. Kids come in all shapes and sizes, so our clothes have to as well. Cash donations can be sent to Clothes To Kids, 1059 N. Hercules Avenue, Clearwater, FL 33765.
Drop off donations from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at any of our three stores: Tampa – 5011-H West Hillsborough Avenue, Clearwater – 1059 North Hercules Avenue and St. Pete – 2168 34th Street South. About Clothes To Kids. Founded in 2002. The mission of Clothes To Kids is to provide new and quality used clothing to low-income or in crisis school-age children, free of charge. Students eligible for free or reduced priced lunch are qualified to “shop” at Clothes To Kids. Clothes To Kids is privately funded and relies on donations of clothing and funding from the community to sustain operations. Since its inception, Clothes To Kids has distributed more than 160,000 wardrobes to children in need. Clothes To Kids has three stores.
