BAYOU MARKET & CAFÉ

Cravin’ Cajun? Look no further than David Bilyeu’s Bayou Market and Café, across from Earth Origins on Central Ave. The business launched in 2009 and quickly found a following. While they specialize in cajun cooking, their food also has a Caribbean and coastal influence. Their menu changes weekly, but always has delicious staples like Shrimp Etouffee, Bourbon Chicken, Seafood Gumbo and Chicken Sausage Jambalaya (as well as yummy sides such as collard greens, mac & cheese, and spinach madeleine). Don’t forget to sample the Bourbon Bread Pudding and beignets are cooked fresh on Saturday mornings – yum! They also feature weekly specials. The menu is reasonably priced and the cuisine is excellent with terrific portions. They no longer offer dine-in, but stop in to grab your food to go. And if you are throwing a Cajun cookout, Bayou Market will take care of you with tons of catering options. Laissez les bon temps rouler! Open Mon.-Fri. 11am-7pm and Sat. 12-4pm.  Closed Sundays. www.bayoucatering.com www.bayoumarketandcafe.com

MIO’S GRILL & CAFÉ

Mio’s Grill & Café ranked 12th on Yelp’s prestigious list of the best 100 restaurants across the entire United States and ranked 3rd in Yelp’s Best 50 Restaurants of Tampa Bay!!

A tasty Mediterranean restaurant that has a variety of home made fresh Turkish and Greek foods freshly prepared – both authentic and healthy. The popular falafel wrap is a must try! Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options.

25 years ago, Bora, owner/executive chef, had a dream of opening his own small restaurant to serve delicious Mediterranean dishes to his guests. He traveled to different regions of Turkey, Greece and Italy to experience traditional cuisines and taste all kinds of local spices that are specific to those cultures. During his journey to the Mediterranean, he discovered the food only gets better with a special blend of love, passion and sharing. Dine outdoors with your pet or inside with friends and family. Reservations are recommended. A pick-up menu is available on their website. Two locations to serve you in Sand Key Clearwater and downtown St. Petersburg. www.miosgrill.com
