Underwear. Boxers….Undies… Clothes To Kids needs new, packaged underwear. It is a funny topic with a serious purpose. Every low-income, in crisis, homeless child we serve PreK4 thru 12 grade, will get 5 pairs of new underwear as part of the school wardrobe. We will need more than 80,000 pairs of new underwear in the year ahead. Please help us collect packages of new underwear for our kids in Pinellas and Hillsborough. At home, at your church, at your business, your book club …. Organize a collection in July and August. It is actually fun and rewarding. Back to School is here and we need your help.
What is Drop (off) Your Drawers? The campaign was to “underwrite” the cost of purchasing new underwear. Pretty cute, huh? We know by average costs of little girl’s undies and with boxers our cost is $1.75 per pair. Resulting in a huge number for CTK to purchase. So, each package of donated underwear means less funds spent on underwear, and allows us to purchase needed school shoes, pants and uniforms.
