In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, Boulevard Burgers & Tap House and Angels Against Abuse have partnered up again this year to raise funds for the organization’s foster care initiatives. The restaurant has agreed to donate $1 of every Patty Melt sold during the month of April to the charity. “The Boulevard Melt” is an 8 ounce Boulevard Burger smothered in melty cheese, sautéed onions, and pressed between two slices of toast.

The first week of May, the restaurant will present the charity with a check, and they’re asking for the public’s help in increasing those numbers.

The melt is delightful and we’re already getting a lot of positive feedback, so we anticipate another fantastic turnout”, says Charles Marco, Owner of Boulevard Burgers.
Earlier this year, the restaurant also debuted their new All Day Happy Hour promotion as well as three new dishes to the menu. The All Day Hour consists of $3 Wells and $5 Jose Cuervo Margaritas from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM. The new menu items include Mac & Cheese Balls, Boulevard Nachos, and a Reuben Sandwich.
Boulevard Burgers & Tap House is open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week. The restaurant features all day happy hour every day, 15 local crafts on draft, half-price appetizers on Mondays, trivia and tacos on Tuesdays, free meals for kids on Wednesdays, and live music on the weekends. The Boulevard is pet-friendly, offering a Yappy Hour every Saturday afternoon. Private dining is also available in the nautically-acquainted dining room.

ABOUT ANGELS AGAINST ABUSE: Angels Against Abuse (“Angels”) was created by a small group of visionaries who saw a need to provide assistance to children beyond the scope of basic services covered by the foster care system. Most often, these children are removed forcibly from their homes due to abuse, and they are placed in the care of agency housing or private foster homes. The experience is traumatic, and the children often leave with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The Angels team set out to help these kids by providing goods and services not covered by the foster care system; helping to reduce the trauma of home removal; trying to create as many traditional childhood experiences for these children living in non-traditional conditions; and working with children and families to stop the cycle of abuse.
