Outer Banks Boil Company is gaining steam as a new alternative dining experience on St. Pete Beach.
The Berlin family opened their location in June of this year offering residents and vacationers Signature Low County Seafood Boils. Their mission: Providing customers with a great seafood boil while bringing the family back to the dinner table.
Jennifer, James and Logan Berlin are siblings in this affair. While Jennifer is a native to Florida, she met James in the military. They decided to move back to Florida and now call Treasure Island home. Logan and James grew up in Virginia and frequently went to the Outer Banks on vacation, where having a low country seafood boil became a family tradition. Customers can enjoy a signature low country seafood boil in two ways: “You Steam take out” and “We Steam catering.”
For their “You Steam take out,” boils are prepped to order with fresh ingredients that consist of jumbo shrimp, spicy Andouille sausage, sweet Vidalia onions, red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob, arranged in a pot. All the fixings (homemade cocktail sauce, lemon, seasoning, and butter) are provided with every order.“Customer’s take the pot home, add a couple cups of liquid of their choice–water, beer, or wine–and then steam it on the stove for 30-60 minutes. Options including huge, delicious scallops, clams and mussels, crab claws and lobster tails, are added with more seasoning halfway through,” said Logan Berlin, co-owner and general manager of the new Dolphin Village Courtyard location, at 4655 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, 33706, 727-357-BOIL (2645).
“We Steam Catering”–Those who don’t want to cook don’t have to. For a modest additional catering fee, the Outer Banks Boil Company can prepare everything for you wherever it’s convenient.
“With a little notice, we are willing and able to cater groups from eight to 200,” Berlin continues. We all know that gathering a large group of family/friends for dinner at the beach can be a daunting task. That is where Outer Banks Boil Company is here to help. Most people who come to the coast are seafood lovers and this new cook-at-home trend is obviously popular.

I chose Outer Banks Boil Company to cater a pool party for a little over a dozen friends. What a great choice! Everyone absolutely loved the meal and went back for 2nd, 3rd and even 4th helpings. The ingredients were all top quality and extremely flavorful. Logan did a great job speaking with everybody and answering their questions about a Low Country Boil. And I should also point out that he cleaned up when he was done and hauled out the trash. A perfectly executed catering job. I give Outer Banks Boil Company a true 5 Star rating!

This place is fantastic. Seafood boil all packaged up for you, including the pot. All you do is go home, add two cups of water, beer or white wine and boil. Took us 16 minutes and was able to eat a fantastic dinner right at our hotel gazebo during sunset. We skipped all the wait times, the crowds and hardly missed a minute of beach time. This place just opened a couple of months ago and they were so nice and quick. I called and our pot was ready within 15 minutes for pickup. We got The Crab Pot for two and ordered an extra cluster of crab legs for my sons who only wanted that. We are actually considering doing it again while in town!

We had the best experience with Outer Banks Boil Co!!! We wanted to maximize our beach time and not have to rush around, so we had the boil come to us!! Logan was amazing! He did everything he could to make our experience the best for my sister’s family and mine!!! Perfect thing to do on a beach vacay! The food was outstanding, especially the snow crab legs and for our non-seafood friends we had the pulled pork–outstanding food, service, and people!! An 11 on a scale of 1-10. They set up, cook, and clean up–we didn’t have to do anything! Way better than going out–reasonable prices, huge value! We will make this a part of our vacation tradition in St. Pete Beach for sure!!!
