Arts News November 2018

My Favorite Art Place Opened at Sundial – Sundial St. Pete has opened an artistic pop-up just in time for the Holidays. My Favorite Art Place, a Clearwater institution since 2008, has opened its doors at Sundial, the heart of St Petersburg’s thriving downtown scene.

The core business was founded over three decades ago by local arts advocate Jerri Menaul and her late husband, abstract surrealist Scott Menaul. My Favorite Art Place was born in 2013, but has formerly been known as Menaul Fine Art, Menaul Art Printing, Canvas Zoo, and Image Creations of Florida. The shop is recognized today for the internationally-celebrated artists rotating through the gallery’s exhibition space and for the founder’s dedication to fostering the local arts and small business community.

My Favorite Art Place at Sundial St. Pete will showcase the work of Scott Menaul, Lorraine Potocki, metal artist Kate Gausche, paper artist Patsie McCandless, as well as Ceramics by Rasa, Glasswork by Susan Gott, wood and stone furniture by Wille Woods, fiber works by Belinda Chapnick, and a very special exhibition of artworks by cancer survivors.  The gallery offers a wide selection of artwork and art gifts for both residential and commercial environments and will host a lively schedule of both public and private events.  Information on Sundial and Sundial events visit sundialstpete.com.
