Admiral Farragut Dedicates DeSeta Hall

Dedicating DeSeta Hall, “This multimillion-dollar state-of-the-art multiuse facility is one more piece  in the master plan to enhance the 40-acre campus,” said Art Musicaro, Vice-Chair Board of Directors. Named after Farragut alumnus Ed DeSeta ‘67  and his family for their generous gifts to the school. The dedication for the new 500-seat home of Building Dedication at Admiral Farragut AcademyFarragut’s creative and performing arts follows a successful three-year, $4.3 million capital campaign.

“Farragut students will demonstrate, in this splendid facility, the dedication, pride, leadership, and many talents that are the hallmarks for Admiral Farragut Academy,” said Headmaster Bob Fine. 

In addition to enhancing Farragut student life, the facility is open to the community for weddings and other events.

In the November issue we invited you to the Off-Broadway play Batboy: A Yankee Miracle at DeSeta Hall on November 16th but since going to press Admiral Farragut has postponed the show and has yet to set a new date. Check back to see when the show will go on here.
