March Tidbits
There’s a lot happening around Pinellas County this month! Seniors who need help with phones, tablets, or computers can stop by the free Tech Desk Tuesday mornings (9am–noon through March) at the Lealman Exchange. In Treasure Island, a series of free environmental classes at Sunset Vista Park will cover topics like native vs. invasive plants, plastics and microplastics, and coastal resiliency. The St. Pete Beach Library is also offering free tax preparation help every Wednesday through April.
If you’re looking for something fun to do, the Bay Area Renaissance Festival continues weekends through March. Over on Corey Avenue, a full-day St. Patrick’s celebration with live music and activities takes over the street March 14. And if dining out sounds good, locals can explore six new dining concepts at the TradeWinds Resort—with parking waived if you mention you read about it in Paradise News.
Music lovers can also mark their calendars for the 30th annual Tampa Bay Blues Festival April 10–12 at Vinoy Waterfront Park.
