For one day only, many of the city’s top museums and cultural institutions will open their doors with free admission. Participating museums include The James Museum, MFA St. Pete, St. Petersburg Museum of History Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center and The Dalí. #2 Mad Beach Oktoberfest
Celebrate Oktoberfest this Saturday, September 20th at Holiday Isles Elks Lodge #1912 with an evening of German traditions and community fun. Enjoy live music from The Alpine Polka Band, plus a yodeling contest, polka dancing, and festive beer specials. A hearty German dinner buffet with appetizers and dessert will be served from 4–7pm for $25. Proceeds support Lodge General Fund.

Stroll, shop, and soak up the vibes at the Gulfport Night Market, happening again this Saturday 5-9pm. Held year-round on the first Friday and third Saturday each month, the market brings together local makers, artisans, and food vendors under the management of Tampa Bay Markets, now celebrating 15 years of successful events. Head out to The Coliseum in St. Petersburg this Saturday, September 20th 9am-7pm for Catstravaganza- a live and international cat competition where pedigreed and “moggie” cats compete to be the best in various categories. Meet cat judge extraordinaire Steven Meserve, enjoy the Loving Cats Catwalk, where cats strut their stuff, and learn from local rescue groups. $30 adults & $20 kids.
