SUMMARY:Arts Annual 2021 Weekend
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday and Sunday\, November 13th and 14th\, Creative Pinellas will host our Arts Annual Weekend\, virtual festival\, and fundraiser featuring leading Pinellas County artists and performers. Historically an evening gala\, Creative Pinellas is pivoting in 2021 to an outdoor affair in our courtyard with the addition of dance\, music\, poetry\, food trucks\, live painters\, and a gallery exhibition with over 100 art pieces on display and available for sale. \nThe Arts Annual group exhibition will return to the Gallery at Creative Pinellas November 11th through December 19th\, 2021. The exhibition will feature the artwork of over 30 artists\, from innovative up-and-coming creators to internationally recognized artists. From the beginning\, Creative Pinellas has invited former Professional and Emerging Artist Grantees to exhibit their work or perform live. As part of the 2021 Arts Annual events\, the exhibit will also be accessible to the public remotely\, in an online gallery. The virtual gallery is an immersive experience\, allowing visitors to walk through a virtual space from their cell phone\, tablet\, or desktop computer. The artwork will be available for purchase both in the gallery at Creative Pinellas and online. \nFeatured performers and live artists include Helen French\, EMIT Trio\, Ricardo Delgado\, Linda Costa\, Alex Jones\, Jon Ditty\, Victoria Jorgensen\, Jujmo\, Tenea D. Johnson\, the Ukulele Society\, Amy Collins\, Tom Sivak\, and Sheila Cowley. \nTickets for Arts Annual Weekend are available at Artsannual.org for $10 (single event) and $25 (weekend pass) per person. Ticket purchase includes admission to the Arts Annual Weekend events at its physical location in the courtyard at the Gallery. Creative Pinellas is accepting donations of any amount.

SUMMARY:Wellness Challenge 22: Veterans Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Centre SPB and Triverde Health has collaborated with Flag Hero\,1620 Marine\, Florida Cannabis Coach and their team to organize this day of appreciation for all who serve and have served our country along with their families and supporters. \nThe purpose of this annual Veterans event is to conduct and demonstrate how to perform a proper flag retirement ceremony\, provide education and awareness about PTSD and Veteran suicide. The flag retirement ceremony will be performed by our very own MacDill Air force Honor Guard and will be open to the public at no charge. There is a FREE outdoor component to the event and a ticketed indoor component. We will have guest speakers educating on topics to help our Veterans such as natural remedies to combat depression and the benefits of medical marijuana. \nWhy is it called Wellness Challenge 22? We are challenging our community to take 22 deep breaths a day as a mindful and meditation practice to improve mental health! \nTwo Part Event Schedule: \n10 – 4pm : Free outdoor flag retirement ceremony (10 – 12)\, vendors and music \n12 – 4pm : Indoor ticketed event with general admission tickets and VIP tickets. DESCRIPTION:A local social club of businessmen and entrepreneurs dubbed the “St Pete Fools” is hosting a local charity ride to raise funds for The Kind Mouse\, Alpha House of Pinellas County\, and the Daystar Life Center. The ride is set to take place on Saturday\, November 13th at 12:00 pm with The Toasted Monkey as the meet-up location. The members of the St Pete Fools along with local residents and community members will partake in a St. Pete Police Department escorted ride throughout the St. Petersburg area\, with breaks and stops at local businesses. There will be motorcycles\, commemorative t-shirts for sale\, a 50/50 raffle\, and an after-party celebration at The Toasted Monkey on St. Pete Beach. \nThe public can register to participate for $15 per person.
