DESCRIPTION:This Sunday\, St. Petersburg will have its largest open-air event\, Halloween on Central\, hosted by Car–Free St. Pete\, in partnership with the Grand Central District\, EDGE District\, Open Streets St. Pete and the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA). Attendees can stroll and roll along nearly two miles of the city\, from Dr. MLK Jr. (9th) Street to 31st Street and experience the heart of the Sunshine City from a unique perspective that will allow them to rediscover their favorite local businesses and interact with the community in fun\, healthy ways – without worrying about car traffic.   \nFor more information\, including a map of the event\, please visit HalloweenOnCentral.com \nFollowing the top community desires communicated in the St. Pete 2050 Visioning Process\, Car-Free St. Pete is collaborating with the City of St. Petersburg\, Grand Central District\, EDGE District and Open Streets St. Pete to shut down 22 blocks of Central Avenue\, from MLK Jr. St to 31st Street\, on October 31st\, 2021. Halloween on Central will showcase our vision for what a car-free Central Avenue could look like for locals\, businesses and visitors to enjoy. Come in costume to stroll & roll along nearly 2 miles of the city’s largest open spaces and experience the heart of St. Pete from a unique perspective that will allow them to rediscover their favorite local businesses and interact with the community in fun\, healthy ways. \nWho should attend? Everyone! This event is FREE and for people of all ages. SUMMARY:Spooktacular Halloween Performance at Zubrick Magic Theatre
DESCRIPTION:Calling all boys and ghouls to a spook-tacular extra night’s performance at the Zubrick Magic Theatre on Halloween night\, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. Talented illusionists Chris and Ryan Zubrick\, winners of the prestigious Merlin Award for ‘Best Family Magic Show’ conjure up an exhilarating blend of sleight-of-hand\, family-friendly comedy and breathtaking grand-scale illusions in a 70-minute performance that will leave you walking away saying “How did they do that?!”  \nEarlier in the day\, the Zubrick Magic Theatre will be giving out candy treats and a free magic trick at their booth on Central Avenue to those who attend the EDGE District’s Halloween street party from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. when nearly two miles of Central Avenue in St. Petersburg will closed to traffic.   \nThe tricks and treats will continue that night one block over at the Zubrick Magic Theatre\, 1211 1st Ave. N. Children in attendance will receive their very own magic wand as a free gift. Doors open an hour prior to the 7:00 p.m. curtain time for guests to enjoy beer\, wine\, or soft drinks and snacks available for purchase in the lobby.  The performance runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. \nTreat your family to some tricks this Halloween at the Zubrick Magic Theatre. Tickets can be purchased at www.ZubrickMagic.com. General admission tickets are $40.00 per person\, plus taxes and fees for ages 4 and older. Children ages 3 and under are free provided they are sitting on an adult’s lap.
