DESCRIPTION:The German American Sociatey of Pinells County is well known for being a friendly and family-oriented place on any Saturday night – and during special events. The annual Oktoberfest is no different. \nOur guests are encouraged to participate in all kinds of fun activities\, including learning German dances. For our youngsters\, there’s always a Kiddie Corner with things to keep the children busy for a while. \nMost foods\, available during our three-weekend October Event\, are prepared on-site from scratch. \nThe ‘Apfelstrudel’ (apple strudel) is one of our staples and is appreciated by regular and first-time visitors alike. \nDespite all the traditional German foods\, it would not be Oktoberfest without the imported Bavarian beers we’ll have in stock.
