DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Wednesday\, March 24\, at 7:00 p.m. for a virtual Black Skimmer workshop to learn about these charismatic seabirds! \n\nAudubon Florida is offering a free\, virtual Black Skimmer Workshop on Wednesday\, March 24\, at 7:00 p.m. to learn about these charismatic seabirds! \nOne of the most unusual seabirds you’ll ever see\, black skimmers are sure to capture your attention when out during your evening beach stroll. During this workshop\, we will learn how they can lay their eggs and raise their chicks on sandy beaches during the peak of summer\, and how exactly they catch fish without crash-landing into the water. We will also discuss their habitat loss and how we can work together as a community to help them survive. \nThis is a free workshop open to residents of Indian Shores\, Indian Rocks Beach\, and other nearby communities!  You must register on the Meeting Registration page to participate in the workshop.
